I kinda like the panigale, just not sure I would ever own one.

Just had one of my DOC members buy the 1199. It's surprisingly comfortable. Not a torture rack like the 999 and 1098/1198. He has a built R6 for racing and he said out of the box, other than dialing the suspension in to his liking, the Pani blows the built R6 out of the water in just about everything.

It really is starting to be an underpowered liter bike and it doesn't even have a single sided swingarm. So basically you got a Honda now.

That's what the Ducati guys are saying, they can't expect to race with it can they? What series is going to bump their cc limit over 850 for twins? Who knows though, the 636 managed to squeak in even though they initially said it wouldn't be able to race.

Since when was 850 not a middleweight???

Realistically for $20k+ and being an 1199 vs a 599, I'd be pretty pissed if it didn't...

$17k non-S model and got a deal on it because he bought an 848 for his fiance too. But I get the point.
