Drunk plows through South by Southwest. Seems to me we've got a few members in the area. Hope they were at home last night.

A buddy of mine in the area posted on FB today... apparently him and his friend were there and left right before it happened. Even crazier is that they were having a conversation about life and living in the moment in which someone said, "that car could jump the curb and run us all over..." or something. Pretty crazy how stuff like that happens.

As far as I know, everyone in the TWF Austin Contingent is okay.

Edited to add: most of us locals generally avoid SXSW (and downtown Austin during SXSW) like the plague. I say most, because there are some brave souls who still partake in a show or two. All the ones I'm still in touch with on FB seem to be accounted for.
