Is it legal on the highway? What's it top out at?
RACER X
05-11-2014, 12:11 PM
i heard its not legal in CA
haven't checked here, i just pretty much ride the feeder roads and back streets.
i only get to ride it on my fri off, so just screwing around
Z said she saw 67
i saw 60, but the wind has a lot to do w/ top speed, lol
there are several big bore kits out there, so thats in the future.
installed last weekend
CRG arrows
intake
LED brakelight/turn signals like i linked earlier
ohlins should be here next week
racetech ft end soon after that, lol
heck Corbin already makes a saddle for the bike, it's nice to! but $300+
this is getting to be an expensive cheap bike!

the beauty is in the size, it's tiny and at 225lbs crazy light
heard yamaha is going to bring in a 125, but it'll have big wheels and weight 300lbs, 50% more basically.

This guy is in my area and makes a lot of neat little parts. He is pretty popular in the ruckus area and got a Grom when it first came out.

Commuted from far west to downtown for first time today,.lol
30 something miles
Took HOV in
I goto work at 0500, so really no traffic
Beat my usual park-n-ride bus in
Saw some moron on the interstate in Chattanooga on one. He was about getting run over by everyone. Definitely has no business on the interstate with 70 mph speeds and the guy is lucky he didn't get squished like a grape.
RACER X
06-11-2014, 09:36 AM
I wish I could reach 70, lol
Yeah I don't recommend them for hwy, per se
I take the HOV and have it hammered the whole time, I pull over and let cars pass. It's a barricaded hov so no outside traffic. And I also come to work at 0500 and leave at 1500, so not as much traffic.
It's fine for side streets and feeder roads

Every time I see one, that's my first thought. I'd love to have one, but JFC, that'd be totally ridiculous.
