Something like this in Nashville.

I think there would be enough demand and possible backing from a few companies I know... One of which has a suite at the Nashville Super speedway.

Maybe in the near future. Till then who wants to plan a weekend out at willow springs?

:idk:I want to do it too! On my budget it would be a fleet of Ninja 250's though. Actually the rental thing would kinda suck, putting everyone else on track and then having to bust ass to keep it all together.

I think we should do a motorcycle time share. We all pitch in, buy the bikes and then get together and play on them together. Collectively owned and maintained, you pay your expenses/fee/repairs. TWFix could travel to prearranged dates 5-12 times per year at the coolest tracks maybe piggy backing onto one of the track day promoters...Whatcha think?

Not a bad plan to me. But making it happen with a group of people would be the hard part...

And those are 250's the 08's. They look sweet.

I have a friend who was big into pocket bikes and the race teams did it that way. they all paid dues and swapped out bikes when they traveled from city to city. the hosting track had members with bikes they all either brought parts for if needed or they bought and shipped in what they needed.

I think a member who pitched in could have a priviledged share on the track or discount of some sort... who knows it may spread to other citys and tracks.

Yup, it is hard enough to get folks into a group buy for rearsets or something I can just imagine what it would take to get that many up for time share bikes. The rental thing would have to have some sort of side benefit in order to make it worthwhile though, like running a school, or as a part of a larger track day organization. Otherwise it just wouldn't be cost efficient.

The clip is right below where it says 3 laps on a ninja 250 on my screen. It may not have loaded on yours.

yeah you rent the bike for $250 a day with all the fuel/tires you need. You still have to pay for school/race entry/track day fee and everything else.
