no, I ordered new grips and took the others ones off because they were suppose to be here last week. Turns out Ebbs is not the only one who doesn't understand you are suppose to send it to my new address and not my old address and cycle sector ups'ed my stuff to my old address and it got returned to sender. So I am without grips on the bike. Probably could put the old ones on, but don't feel like it.

Only some local riding with the wife and a friend that just bought an R6 this week. My BIL is coming to visit with his Harley so my riding will be tame.

Most of the weekend will be spent on Lake Norman in this...

The wife and I do ok and have no kids so we buy toys for ourselves. :dthumb:

It's not that big of a boat but it's big enough for us and a few peeps to tag along...sounds good and moves out pretty decently. :rockout:

Oh, in my eyes you are the man.

I may have a man crush on you... Ok that was a little gay.

I'm in the same boat (small pun) as you minus the wife as of resently so ya, live it up man!

I would say that looks like about a 21 Ft. er from the pic, Is it? 19Maybe?

Still looks sweet. You got a silent choice exhaust on it?

It's 23 feet with an add on 2 foot swim platform making it 25 total. Yep on the captain's choice exhaust.:dthumb: It's kind of like having a cut-out exhaust...can sound loud cocky to show off for the performance nut friends  but can silence it when back in the coves when people are sitting out on their deck and enjoying the peace and quiet. :idk:

It's only a small block with 320 HP which comes in handy v.s. a big block since gas prices have gone up but will still top 60 mph.

Thanks again.

Prop pitch/selection determines most of your top end.
When I was working for Gekko boats, most of 'em would top out around 55 or so, but get there in a hurry. With a race prop (and 375 hp PCM engine) the same 22 ft boat would do a tick over 70, confirmed by GPS.

I could easily hit 55+ on my 21 foot boat with 275HP. I was running a 23 pitch, 3 blade stainless prop.

I believe the stock prop was a 23 pitch 3 blade on the ski boats, 21 pitch 4 blade on the wake boats.

not sure what the pitch was on the race prop.

top end was always the same on anything from a 20ft up to the 25ft wake boats, no matter the engine. (315hp to 375hp) It was just a matter of how quick it got there.

True about prop/pitch...no doubt. It planes pretty quickly and is a fun little boat.

My last boat was 20 1/2 foot with just 220 hp and would still top out at 56...it was a lighter boat than this one but didn't look or sound as good doing it though.

I have a Caravelle Interceptor 232 LS Bowrider... I "think" my prop is a
14 3/4" x 21 SS

I'm here! got in about 40 mins early actually last night. at about 1135... after 30some odd hours of traveling... but I was wide awake at 5 so I could go out and see my bike.. man... it sent a shiver down my spine when I took off the cover...
