Deus Ex Machina they call it. Looks like a lot of fun. And expensive to build- probably all carbon fiber and billet titanium.

Cant be very fast at all. And the CG is way to high to be able to corner worth a shit.

Since I'm in the Aerospace field, my daughter wants me to design her a jet pack... I tell her, sure thing honey.... LOL She's 8.... What are you gonna do? :idk:

It does- there's a vid on Popular Science. (second link) Those front arms go way out till your face is just above the pavement. Doesn't show this thing turning though- twisties would be insane! And I'm thinking of insane like the armor/wheel suit guy in the alps. :panic:

meh- it's just a ducted fan. Noisy as hell, and unstable.

As long as it provides greater than one-to-one thrust ratio it has to be fun! And by thrust ratio I mean power to weight and not what the rest of you are thinking....
