I went on a good long ride with a few people yesterday and this morning I was getting ready to do some chain maintenance and I saw a fly that had smashed itself against my rear tire with the guts all stringed out. How the hell does a bug hit the rear wheel and stayed on there? Weird or what?

I had a bug fly into my helmet and start flying around. I thought I got it then it started flying around under my glasses.
Weird part was I normally ride visor up and get bugs hitting my in my glasses sometimes. But I actually had my visor down.

I get the rim bugs all the time. I just washed 3-4 of them off on Saturday.
Where do you get those valve stems? Are they nice? Checking tire pressure is a bit of a hassle with the standard ones.
my boy somehow caught birdshit INSIDE his left swingarm spool. we all figured he got really "lucky" when he was leaning in a curve

You can get those 90-degree valve stems from Parts Unlimited catalog. Just make sure that the valve stem diameters match the stock ones. Some of the fancy rims have different valve stem sizes.
Dirty ass wheels.
That's what happens when you logged in nearly 300-miles.
