I didnt get to see much other than following Gunther around and to meet up with you, but DAYUM they are INCREDIBLE!! Prepare yourself, i might just have to make a trip up there just to do some riding with ya'll! I'm dying ofroad envy down here. I look at my bike in the garage, think about gettin her out, then shake my head and walk away...I'm ruined i tell ya, ruined!

I love how nonchalant you are...yes as a matter of fact, the scenery and roads you CANT see going on forever are wildly attractive. If I had the money to go to the track every weekend, it might be different, but as I dont...:idk:

I would invite you to visit the Ozarks but I couldn't have Gunth and Ebbs getting all worked up about it!:whistle: It is alot like Tenn/Virg/NC. For what it's worth NE Tenn and Virginia is where I want to move to...Track days at VIR and Road Atlanta, mountain twisties every weekend in between!

And No she didn't get to see not one good road. Sucked in that aspect but Just going down Old Hickory to get to good old 24 she was geetting the idea of what could be out there I think. Even that route has nothing on it that is even worth mentioning.

I wish we had more time to explore but with all the miles ahead of her I think it was best to send her on her way.

It sucked seeing her leave when it was already dark out and all alone...

It's hard not to worry about the little fugger!

You might like it better here in NW AR. I am 2 hours away from a track that has track lapping weekends every month, sometimes twice...Hallett Motor Racing Circuit. Classy place although a bit small for liter bike fun, only 1.9 miles.

To Bad that track is in Jennings,OK and is 658 miles from me.

I could hit barber but with Nashville super speedway 10 minutes from my house I just wish there were more bike track days.


I need to get back up to Michigan to get my 3 place trailer to make track days a lot easier. And a barber trip possible.

There is a new track in Ky called blueGrass or something that will open in the summer of 09. It looks nice.

Same deal, Hallett management just calls them lapping days so as not to confuse them with the circuit track day organizations like Fastrax or Lone Star Track Days that go to different tracks. The MLD's are organized by Hallett track management.

That may just be in the cards for me next spring. I am trying to hit every track in a 800 mile range in the next 2 years. Been to Gratton, need to hit Gingerman up in MI. Nashville is a no brainer. Doing that end of this month with a class... might take up the guy on his course someday but im just going to see how he runs it and what the others say first. It has a normal track day associated with it.

STAR School hits Hallett every may. I took the 2 day there and worth every damn penny! If you don't do another track day all year the 2 day is worth the price, besides the travel costs are already down....

I wish babe, wrong part of Florida tho...those are several hours away...the closest decent roads are still about an hour away from me...

I am nearer Pensacola, and whle the beaches are beautiful, im not one to cruise and look at that kinda stuff, not to mention the crazy tourists trying to kill me!
