I'd be laughing my ass of if they found a bike down there!
They pulled some trucks out awhile back.
It's like this because they are working on one of the dams.

Yep.
Here in Georgia our main lake (Infact I think the largest man made lake in the U.S.) was drained a good bit so mussels could do it or something there in southern Alabama. But a lot of cool shit was found. Including old bridges.

They already do that with Lake Michigan so it wouldn't surprise me.

Seems like a great time to clean some of that crap up!
Very cool pictures though. I used to spend my summer on Lake Burton in Georgia and every winter when the water was brought down to a lower level we would run all over the shoreline looking for crap we had lost that summer. Never did find anything cool though.

The water would probably to murky to see.

Do you guys have Red Clay up there? Maybe it's because I've seen so much I've become immune to the sight of it but I don't really notice red clay until I get south of I-20 here in Georgia.
We have some nice flooded Rock Quarries around my area that have pretty good visibility. Often with old cranes left in them.

It's rock.

Not always true. Actually you'd be surprised at the mud and silt you'd fine at the bottom of a "rock" quarry.
