Well incase you guys haven't heard when Hurricane Ike came and bitch slapped Texas apparently Georgia took the hit the hardest.

Why? Well apparently we have no fucking gas in this entire fucking state! Why is that? Well because the refineries in Houston shut down to let Hurricane Ike by everyone in Georgia felt that they neede to run to the gas station and fill up all 10 of their damn cars and their 10 5 gallon gas cans and any beer cooler they could find.

Because of this damn mass hysteria if you want gas you have to sit in an hour or two line. I'm not joking either. All the stations in my town are completely out because we live on a main roadway that heads to the University of Georgia and they had a damn football game which meant 10billion people in their SUVs with their gay ass Georgia or Alabama flags waving in the wind had to fill up everything they own.

Some stations had enough sense to make $20-30 limit on gas. But gas is at an average of $4.19 a gallon while the rest of the US is much lower!!! Georgia has always been the lowest on gas until this F'n hysteria kicked in.

FUUUUUUCK Atlanta and the idiots (Transplants from the North though) who live here.

Okay I had to rant some...

Amen brother. I'm stopping and getting gas anytime I see an open station, regardless of how much I have. You never know when the shit is gonna run out. Goddamn the media and their scare tactics, and goddamn the idiots who listen to the media. I'm honestly surprised the prices haven't been jacked up more than they are.

I live in a smallish town that is the border of Suburbia and Country. I bet we have atleast 20gas stations just in the town. The only one that had gas was Kroger and it was a huge line (But not as big as I've seen) and they only had 87 available (Fine for my bike but I know not for others).

Here is the beautiful line I sat in (apparently gas was so bad they all sat in their A/C with their vehicles running)

I ended up behind the SUV in front of me and that red Jeep. The Jeep put in $69.50 and the Explorer $67.72. Her pump clicked at $65 or so. That SUV/wagon on the ver left through in $45 and was the least amount I saw anyone throw in. Gee I wonder why there is a gas shortage???

I filled up with $12.67 worth of gas and should be good for another 160+/- miles. Just joy riding will be out for a bit until the trucks can catch up (If they ever can).

But ain't this purdy.

That's what's fucked up. We normally make fun of surrounding states and their high gas prices. Hell now California is below us.

I did hear in Savannah they have plenty of gas (Since a lot of our gas comes from the Port of Savannnah) and it's around $3.30 a gallon.

yeah when Trip, Fatburg, Rae, Kat, and I were headed up to Indy... we ran into a station that was closed.... completely out of gas, and a station that was a fucking mad house... limited to $20 though.

on my way riding back though... I didn't see a gas station ANYWHERE that didn't have at least one pump closed due to low fuel reserves... but none had the mass hysteria that Kentucky or Georgia apparently.

So, you have problems with gasoline lines because the humans you live by are morons. I suggest you move. Maybe you could pick up some nice property on Crystal Beach....

I've come to the conclusion that we're all surrounded my morons... we need to take over like TN or NC and just claim it as TWFix nation... good roads... beach... mountains... good weather...

sounds good to me!

Ok,I'm sorry but why do people choose (you'll remember this word from another thread) to live on the coast, under a volcano, near a fault line, etc and then expect everyone to feel sorry for them when the shit (that happens EVERY year btw) hits the fan? The real kicker is that for the most part these locations are some of the most expensive pieces of real estate in the country. Some of those homes and condos that are in that picture are probably in the millions. Gee,that's too bad...

In Michigan for example, there are these people that choose to live in houses right next the largest river in the area. Almost every year, the river floods and you see these people on the news, "We lost everything, boo hoo..." It's not that I don't feel sorry for these people but really, how many times does the same shit happen to you before you move inland?

I don't know that there was any search for sympathy. It's maybe just a bit of perspective. You THINK you have it rough without gas, or having to wait for gas. Now imagine not having a house...

There isn't anywhere that you can live without some sort of possibility of mass destruction anymore. I mean, between tornados and other storms... or earth quakes... or fires. There is the chance for anything. Those on the coast that I know are deciding whether they will even rebuild - and haven't asked anyone to help other than some minor support.

I do know this much... I don't ever want to hear about the plight of the Katritians. :panic:

I know why there is a gas shortage down in the southern states...well I didn't know until one of my clients told me yesterday. It's because the government is setting the stage for November. They are going to control the gas down there (and the public transportation) to keep "certain demographic groups" from getting to the polls.

Oh, this same customer also informed me that the Illuminati control the fed and the gov't, CNBC shows the number 666 any chance they can get, Nostradamus predicted that the eagle would lose half it's wealth this very year and our gov't was behind the Sept. 11 attacks.

That's stupid as f*ck to even consider being true...what a joke. Last time I checked my car runs on gas as well and I'm not voting for Obama so if I can't get to the polls "they" wouldn't get my vote either...doesn't make sense.

"Mass transit" hasn't had ANY issues getting around here at all. We've got diesel...just short on gas.

The sky is falling....:rofl::rofl:

*sarcasim at it's finest...I hope*
