I think I much prefer the St. Louis zoo. It didn't have all the cages like that. It had large areas for the animals to roam around, and had plexiglass rather than cages... Granted, there were some areas that still had cages, but very few.

:dvrofl:You guys kill me. I like the tiger...Actually it was a big cat game preserve and they had around 60 big cats, tigers, lions, panthers, cougars...They rescue them from unscrupulous dealers and owners that abuse em. They had some bears and monkeys too.

Alex is 3 and a half, loved it. Thanks for the compliments guys. I will pass it along while trying to convince her to :diitb: HA!

I don't know...In person those tigers are serious big cats. The one next to the one in the picture stood on his hind legs all of about 9 feet tall and I can only estimate 6-700 pounds. They are huge.

Thats nuthin, our Alex is at least 8 feet tall and 300lbs, he could easily eat one of those cats for breakfast!! :wink: Love ya Alex!! *hug*

naw... we don't wear our dress blues often... think the last time I wore them was for Honor Guard at Beale AFB 5 years ago. gonna have to wear them a lot in Mississippi though... nothing like a wool suit in 99% humidity:panic:

Agree with the wool comment.:panic::panic::panic: Our uniforms are 55% wool base. It sucks when your on a long hike in July in a wool uniform and hot flat hat.

And I don't think I know a single guy who would wear his uniform to a bar, no matter what branch he was in. The ONLY time anyone wore it to a bar was the NCO bar right after some special function where they had to be in their dress uniform. Oh, and that special function was held in a "ballroom" in the same building. But since everyone there was military, you certainly weren't wearing it to pick up chicks.

yeah, honestly I could give 2 shits about the dress uniform. I turned mine in for resizing last July and haven't seen it since.

Then again, I haven't worn it since a friends funeral back in 03.

Truth... last w/e when the wife was in NY, she and her 2 girlfriends had a bunch of navy boys trying to pick them up and hang out at the bar. Only one of the girls was single but they hung anyway. Then they invited the girls to go to a comedy club and shit. Uma even said a officer came over at the bar and asked the ladies if they were bothering them. :lol: Uma was lovin the uniform boys...
