Yeah but only 140HP at wheel on a liter??? A few of those mods on my bike and I'd be pushing 140.

I'd get it for under $2K, but it will probably go for $5K.

If you actually race it's a sweet bike, it qualifies for a vintage liter bike class, and it would absolutely own anything else in the class.

Plus for the money he has in it, you can't beat the price. He has done all the work himself and has easily over $20,000 in mods. Plus some very original one off parts and parts you can't get ahold of anymore. A few of us know the seller and he is very, very anal about the work he does and the care of his bikes.

Yeah I never said it wasn't a good deal, I was just surprised by the amount of engine work that that has been done on that thing it didn't dyno out higher. I don't know what a stock 900RR put out at the wheel, but with with the money that the guy has in to it, I would have expected more HP.

I know him, he's an absolute douchebag slimeball, which is my personal opinion, but he takes good enough care of his bikes that I am in the process of negotiating a purchase of one of his racebikes. The thing is mint.

Stock was about 120hp at the crank, so about 110hp at the rear wheel. It's not all about hp too, stock 900RR's fully fueled etc weigh about 450lbs, this thing tips the scales at significantly less.

:idk:

He put quite a bit of money in it, because the bike has some history for him.

I think a stock 900rr put out about 112 hp at the rear wheel... 140 is quite good! Hell,I'd give $3000 just because of the mods. Single sided swingarm is good for at least $2000 with the rim! Carbon fiber bodywork ( btw) is another $2000,so it would be a steal at $2000-3000 imho! My only concern is that there are 10 pics of the bike but none from the other side where the open wheel and exhaust would sell the bike.

I'd rock the HELL outta that 900RR. those bikes are absolutely fucking pimp, but I'd HAVE to have the twin round headlights that they came from the factory with. I just like those more.

Bout all I would use it for.

I never understand seeing these custom vehicles put up for sale with ridiculous amounts of time and money into them, and only a handful of miles after the rebuild. :idk: Not even a thorough shakedown.
