You know, it doesn't have to be hand delivered. You could set up an acct and just mail them a check a week before X-mas.

Of course, somebody would have to take the initiative to set it up and be responsible for it.

There is no easy way to go about this.

First, I'm horribly sorry for the entire tragic nightmare that the two of you have endured from the first drunk hit. It seemed to start a downward spiral that turned out of control somewhere in the middle there... without anyone to take control over it. It's awful, and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone that I didn't care about - let alone someone that started a *family* for me and others that I care about.

Let me say a heart felt THANK YOU for everything in the past - for Cycle Forums, for time, for energy, for pouring your soul into it.

It's rough.

I'm sorry that any of my words might have come across wrong - I now know they did. Hindsight is so very 20/20. They weren't intended that way - just got typed in a fit of information thrown at me - and I now know they have come across selfish. I'm so very sorry.

That being said, I won't give Stew more than the dime he already has of my time. He's burned me in the past with other major forums - and I just hope that y'all got enough to take care of you for a while. Really and truly. If not - how do we help? I know he posted that proceeds will go to you and yours for the month of November - I'd rather send you cash myself (and know many more that would).

I would like to officially invite you to come play with us - I know contracts are icky and contingent on other sites. So, I understand if you don't come over right away. Got hit by a drunk driver which caused them to lose time from the store, po'd customers, money, dr.'s bills, etc... A lot of us donated money, Zoomie did a few fundraisers and one of the guys from the site did a calendar to help raise money for them. They still haven't gotten the settlement and it just all got to be too much and had to sell the site and file BK. We were all just told there would be a software upgrade, then found out that VS had bought it. Got upset and left. We all still love the family we had there and Rob and Nancy. The end.
