Ok I have written enough scripts for it and figured I would give it a shot so I could get a solid nights sleep. Not sure if it did much for me, I def didnt feel out of it or that "hungover" feeling it can give so I guess thats good. I may need to up the does as well since a regular dose is calculated for a 150-175 pound person and I am a wee bit over that
So what works for you guys.

I've never taken Ambien... but every sleeping pill I've tried does SHIT for me... :idk: I'm not a huge person... 6'3 180-190... and usually I take a little over if not double the dose...
I've thought about check'n with my doc about sleeping pills... cause i can't sleep for SHIT here in Korea... went home on mid tour and slept like a baby... come back... and I wake up 5-10 times a night... and I mean fully wake up... look at the clock... curse out loud and roll over... and repeat.
Ever hear of an ambiaen date?

2 beers and a BJ and I'm out.
Recently it's been 2 beers and a couple of Vicodin. BJ's have been forgotten about by my wife.

Trazodone and vodka in the winter, trazodone and rum in the summer.
Puts me down like a tranquilizer gun :dthumb:

My husband is now banned from taking Ambien PERIOD. Too many stupid things to detail - eating and not remembering it, internet shopping and not remembering it.. other things I won't put on the internet...
Please be careful those folks that take it. In my opinion it is worse than alcohol in its effects. I wouldn't be surprise if it's not taken off the market one day.

I think sleeping pills screw you up more than help. I'll never take them. I will however drink one beer with a straw and I'm out like a light. Hehe!

When I was on ambien I'd have awful hallucinations, but not much for sleep. It would put me to sleep, but after about two hours I'd start waking up again. It didn't matter if it was regular Ambien or Ambien CR. The end result was the same: no sleep, disgusting and sluggish feeling.
Restoril was far more effective for me. After taking one, that would be it. I'd have about 15 minutes to get where I need to be sleeping or else I'd be out cold whereever I was. It also kept me asleep for a solid 8 hours at least without waking up to the disgusting feeling of ambien.

lol even after the wreck? no sympathy head?
I hate jerkin it before bed cause then you're laying there and it feels like you have a hotplate between your legs, you just cant get it comfortable.
best way to get me to bed is drinking. but that only works after i've exausted myself.
benedryl will put me to sleep w/in a half hour of taking one.

My youngest child is almost 9... She forgot about sex about 9 years ago.
She got what she wanted... 2 kids and a steady income.
