raw torque is great, but HP is lacking compared to the other liters, for the gas milage i get it should be alot more peppy, the stock rc is very bogged down by emissions and epa placed valves and soft rev limiters, just cant get good performance, so you must do a bunch of free mods just to get what shoulda been stock performance and ridability in the first place

and its very heavy

and no, i am no where near the bikes potential, its all just arm chair racing

one thing ill never get tired of is that v twin sound

I've always loved the RC-51. It's an awseome sounding bike. I almost came close to buying one instead of my R1. I've heard of people getting 50,000 miles or more easily on the RC. It's supposed to be a very reliable bike.

We've had a V4 Jap bike for awhile. The Honda VFR. Granted it's not the most powerfull, but it is a V4 none the less. Hopefully Honda updates it for 09. The VFR is actually a blast to ride.

Because I like the way hondas feel better... I really like my 750 but I think its to wide around the tank (it feels like I am riding a horse) and I think it lacks in power. I like the way hondas ride they are narrower, better reliability, and I want a liter bike so eventually a CBR 1000 will be in my garage. Plus this year it is rumored that the CBR is going to king shit of the open class.

We all have opinions about what the best brands/models are, but what do you actually RIDE?
I ride my Busa most often it is a great commuter
My Goldwing is a strong second as I like to tour with comfort.
On more more anti social days the Ducati 999 lets me tear up our little new england side roads and on the those sunny days when I just want to lump along looking like a bad ass I take the Victory

Nice variety, except for the :vomit: busa. 999 is the goddess.
