I know exactly what you mean. My buddy has taken me on a couple auto X events and for some reason every turn had me hanging on for dear life.

A passenger seat ride would be wicked!

the pilot doesn't always die. Parachutes and ejection seats were in development during WW2 for just that reason. But we digress, I don't care what you guys say, I'd love to drive like that, or at the very least be along for that ride.
