Everett, WA here - 20 miles north of Seattle. Rider, racer, general moto-holic.

Name's Laura....My street ride is a VTR1000, my race ride is a SV650, and my dirt ride is a CRF150. My projects include an FZR400/600, a GSXR50 w/ a RM125, and a garage full of other bikes...

I've got 2 kids, one boyfriend, 2 dogs and a couple of small businesses that I'm working on so that I don't have to go back to work.

Thanks to Azoomm for the link and the recommendation...and many other things that I'm not allowed to mention *heehee*

Welcome. I used to live in Everett, right by Lake Stevens just off of Hwy 9.

What's to tell...I'm currently unemployed, laid off on Friday due to no business. Wasn't a surprise. Spending my 'spare' time getting my to do list taken care of and ramping up for race season. I've got 2 teenagers who keep my busy and a boyfriend who is keeping busy with a business we inherited in January. His dad passed away unexpectedly so Louie went from being a mechanic for an independant shop to the owner of a car restoration shop (www.restoreyourcar.com).

I import and sell tirewarmers (http://www.pwmotosports.com/tire_warmers.htm), trying to get a home based Partylite business off the ground, anything to continue not working for other people.

This year will mark 5 years with Louie and while there's been no ring or "big question" he did buy me a wedding dress and has talked about a wedding this year. So we'll see.

I write articles for an online women's mag on a part time basis, I attend femmoto in Las Vegas every October, I race in the novice class in WMRRA, I street ride as often as possible (when I'm not running kids to baseball or soccer). We own 17 or so motorcycles, most of them run, a few of them will be for sale when the sun comes out here (I didn't think it was possible but we have TOO MANY!).

what am I missing....

Pacific raceways in Kent is our "home track" and with Spokane closed for good, Portland and Canada are our options.
There are TWO tracks trying to be built in OR somewhere...one stalled due to funding...the other one is still in design last I looked *but it's been awhile*

There are a few issues though - the least of which isn't the fact that the nearest emergency facility is a lengthy heli-ride away which has been very concerning for racers....the other factor being they keep running into funding issues.
