Extra spam since VS has our email addys?

I went from practically no spam, to about 10 a day since VS got access to my email.

So, I made a nice one along the lines of verticalscopemolestschildren@hotmail.com and changed my address on CF to it. That's the only place that it will ever be used. Let's see how long it takes before I get spam in that one..

My SPAM has almost quadrupled now. I'll get about 5 SPAM messages every few minutes. It's to the point of ridiculous. And it all started the moment CF was "upgraded" to VS.

I'm not sure who, or how, but I've been getting killed by spam for about the same time frame. It use to all go to my bulk mail folder, but now is somehow getting to my inbox. Maybe the spammers have found some new way of getting to people. :idk:

I tried something similar, but it has to be an e-mail address that you can actually log into because VS sends an e-mail to it for verification. If you don't log in and verify the address, they won't change it.

thanks for this pointer... while I havent seen any increased spam - I didnt notice that I used my non-spam email account when accessing CF, so I went ahead and changed it to the clusterfuck "hotmale" account I use when signing up for just about anything.
