Ok,
So I thought i'd post up a thread to see where everyone buys their gear online. There are some great sites out there, so everyone share where you like to shop.

I have a local shop in AK that I use... 99% of what they offer is drop shipped so I can order from anywhere and it's not gonna have to go to AK

the killer thing is they allow returns for just about anything... if you get it and it doesn't fit, wrong color, just don't like it... they'll take it back... it'll cost shipping to AK but hey... at least your not stuck with something you don't want!:rockout:

Oh and they can get just about ANYTHING...

It should be noted... with leathers, and ESPECIALLY helmets. You should try them on. Helmets are a must. Not all heads and helmets are shaped correctly. Its your melon.. they are sold out at K-Fart so take care of the one you got. Without proper fitment you might as well wear a novelty.

I agree 100%. No gear fits the same. An XL helmet in HJC will fit different then a XL helmet in SHOEI. Always try on gear locally for fittment and comfort before trying to buy anything online.

For helmets it has to do with headshape. Some have basketballs and some have eggs. And some helmets are shaped for one and some for the other.

I've bought a lot of stuff from www.motorcycle-superstore.com.
Little slow in getting from CA to PA, but good service and low prices.

Hey all- thought I'd see what the small revolution was about.

I love them because of their Puck-Bucks! When I bought my leather pants I got about $50 back which came in handy since I needed a new chain at the time. :beers:

Not as much as you would think... They cater pretty well to the sportbiker... Afterall, it's mostly gear that they carry... Gear ain't too popular with that crowd ya know...

Funny you should mention that... I think they're the ONLY place I've ever been that isn't a Harley Dealership, but sells HD stuff... They just have a couple jackets and boots... not a whole lot... I always found that interesting though.

If you have a chance to get fitted at a local shop or something, Ebay's not a bad route either. That and other motorcycle forums. I've bought/sold a bunch of stuff on one of the R6 forums I frequent.
