yeah, we have the same campsite again, only thing is they caught us with 30 last year and now we're limited to 8, and they even have a sign in sheet to make sure that's all we have.

and it's not exclusive to just us, alot of people where doing what we where doing so they hit us all with new rules, so mom has had to call everyone and tell our friends only the ones with seniority can stay with us.

it really sucks! we loved having a "tent city", it was a blast, tons of food, drink, great people from all over the world

dad wants to just go with it, but mom won't risk loosing the campsite

Friggin awesome! How does one break into that industry? I would LOVE to do that sort of thing, except more the audio part than lighting, but lighting's fun too. I am an audio hobby-ist. I build loudspeakers for home theater, car audio, wire up new systems, volunteer for a dance company as their small time sound guy, etc. I LOVE that stuff.

As far as my job, I'm a field service electronics tech for Walgreens. I work on/install alarms, phone systems, networks, servers, pc's, automated lighting systems, satellite systems, inkjet refil machines, register systems, and whatnot. Yay me.

Whenever I go to the track with my husband and his friends I take pictures of them...and if he is taking the vette I take pictures of all the vettes that are there that day. Most of the vette guys are on CorvetteForum so I post a thread saying which vettes I got pictures of and then either email the pics or mail them a cd. I have had a few guys offer to pay for the pictures but I have never accepted...pictures at the track if just fun for me although I have been paid to do a few kid's birthday parties. :beers:

ANYWAY...my point being, you might want to try starting out that way if you are just trying to make a few bucks. :beers:

I'm a machinist. We get all the difficult to make parts that nobody else wants or can't figure out how to make.

I've made flight simulators for the military, munition loading equipment and other parts for the gov't.

I'm a total bum right now! The company worked for was downsizing and after all of my cancer surgeries...I was tired! So I took a voluntary layoff, sold my house, cashed in my 401k and moved to NC where I can spend this time riding instead of sitting in my house in Mi snowed in and waiting. Besides, the town I live in has two colleges so it's revolving door time on my bedroom.:dthumb:

My main career, until I got laid off in February, was CAD drafter. I worked for an architectural firm. I'm taking my time finding another CAD job and trying to make my OTHER jobs grow.

Secondary to that I sell tire warmers and I'm trying to grow that big enough to not have to go back to my "main career". I LIKE working for myself.

I'm also a staff writer for a women's moto magazine.
I'm also starting a home base business selling Partylite candles.

Ah. I'm still catching up. I usually go user CP, new posts, then threads I've created. I save those for last because often those have the longest replies.
