Just got out of my last final for the semester. Five classes left until my Associates.... right now going through admissions for the fall to continue. *phew*

Rock On. I just finished my 1st semester of college. Got a 99 average in my math class!!! Just sucks working full time (outdoors at that) to then head to school and do it over again the next day.

Which I'm at a tech school so we have 10week semesters and no summer breaks. But gotta do what I can.

What school is that? I've only heard of one like that while I was looking at electrical engineering at first. I think it was DeVry or something like that.

The school is called Gwinnett Tech located near me here in Georgia. It's known to be a pretty good tech school (Works similar to Devry). You get some 13th graders in there because the classes are cheap but they usualy weed themselves out pretty quick because of the quick classes. We have 4 semesters each year.

I'm in it for Radiology Technology but once I achieve my associates I'm going to switch over to another school to work on my Bachelors of Medical science which will get me into more of the MRI, CT, Pet and other Nuclear forms of medicine which an associates doesn't really do (THey mainly mess with Xrays)

My goal is MBA.

I'm in the first wave of that - I was laid off and my husband encouraged me to go to school rather than seeking something *just to pay the bills*. So, I started Elite Trackdays and went off to Community College to get pre-reqs out of the way. Most of my profs are also profs for UT - just 30 people in the classes rather than 300, and a fraction of the cost.

I'm well on my way...

My class does not end until the 23rd and then they start us back up on the 8th. At least I get a little time off.:rockwoot:

I had to retake College Algebra too. But just once. At my school (a university) they even advise you to take that class at the community college next door because so many people do poorly at the university. I didn't know this the first time, so I failed, retook it at the CC and got an A.

Such a lame ass class.

Yeah... I took Elementary Algebra first - then went from that final to another two hour placement test. I then went right into College Math. Ick.
