But on the other hand, I don't know how could any motorcyclist/scooterist approach an intersection and not look left&right before going through.

Yep. I knew a guy who was 2nd through a green light and got hammered. He was driving a cage, so he was at least ok, but it's best to always look, although most of us don't look if it's been green for awhile.
