we found roads better then the center hill dam area... less traffic, more corners

There was some crazy group of 3 bikes shooting around the leaper fork area a little while back. Then one of them was giving joy rides out to all the women at Pucketts... Damn that silver bike was sexy...

Yeah, but you haven't lived until you've been groped by a 70 year old golfer on her birthday.

You guys up for a ride this weekend? My roommate just got a clean 929 to tag along... Not much of a rider, its been a while for him. I was thinking about a deals gap or somewhere there abouts ride.

I can't do a long ride, but I could probably get out some tomorrow. Got any other locals who might know some roads. You've ridden the ones I know.

Well I went to the big bike night in Rivergate Last night. Pretty cool I guess. Im not much on the walk around a look at regular bike kind... if there were some turbo bikes or 2-strokes that would have been more my speed but the way they set it up the bar is in the parkinglot and they had a live band so it was an alright excuse to ride at night. I'm going to check out the bay in Murfreesboro tonight if anyone wants to go. (ft basterd) theres supossed to be a large sport bike gathering and may be a way to weed out some riders for Sunday... P.S. check out the track days post, theres still spots open!

Man, What I have learned since this thread was alive!

I do now have a few local riders with tons of roads. We need To get a plan together on this side of the state... We could have some pretty nice trips just around Nashville. And By Around Nashville I mean with in a days worth or less of riding. I have been having a blast on some great roads!. :rockwoot:

I don't know how the western TN roads couldn't be fuck'n amazing considering I've ridden all around it and found nothing but perfect motorcycle roads, Arkansas, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Easter TN

the Ozarks were a gift to the Two wheeled community

Most of the roads NW of Nashville are pretty deserted on sunday mornings. This one is a favorite. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=9868668735311426581,36.487990,-87.839490%3B15297329585306866845,36.280230,-87.575200&time=&date=&ttype=&saddr=Spring+St+%4036.487990,+-87.839490&daddr=TN-46+%4036.280230,+-87.575200+to:36.274345,-87.064226&mra=dme&mrcr=1&mrsp=2&sz=16&sll=36.276784,-87.066972&sspn=0.008026,0.01545&ie=UTF8&om=1&ll=36.368222,-87.382507&spn=0.774061,1.51062&z=9&source=embed

Sounds great man! I have been on Booger hill's site in the past. There is a small collection of roads but I have yet to hit most of them. NW of town is good for less traffic and I need to get that way more!

I will be in touch when your back in town!

There are some GREAT roads all around Nashville. Even on the west side. A great site to visit is www.booger-hill.com That site lists lot of great roads out near Cookeville. And if you really want someone to show you some hidden gems...meet up with BanditMaster (Rick) for some rides. That guy knows every great road south of the mason-dixon

Hey, where IS Rick and Mary? Did they ever come take a look over here, or are they staying on CF? Chad and Mike are staying, but they stay in the Nashville forum anyway. Can you give 'em a yell for me? Tell them hello, ok? Thanks!!
