Yesterday I finally broke down and had the surgery on my right wrist that I have been putting off....had 1.3mm ground off the end of an improperly healed ulnar bone...some cartilage heat shrunk and trimmed up....and a bone spur removed.

The word for today?

I'll be without the use of my right hand for the next 6 weeks. Immobilized in a cast over the elbow and wrist...it SUCKS.

Actually, I was thinking riding too. I was going to say thank god its the middle of the winter, and wont be riding season for a few months. Hope they gave you some good pain pills, that everything heals well, and that you'll have good strength by the spring......

I planned it at this time....I'll be healed and have my strength back in plenty of time for riding season.

I threw the script for the narcotics away....don't want/need them...but....maybe I should have had it filled...if any relatives annoy me over the Holidays, I slip them a louie and put them OUT. :lmao:
