Hi, my name is Eric. I grew up in Jersey, but moved to SC a couple years back with my parents. I'm 21 and currently attending college, but with no real major. I like beer, motorcycles and there's no better TV show then House.

That being said, I just got my permit and am looking into the MSF course schedule. Be ready for stupid questions, I can strike anytime and anywhere with no warning. I do know how to use the search function and google though to put you at ease. Hell, it's how I found this place. :p I hope to fit in here eventually.

I'm looking for a cruiser in about a ~$2500 price range. There's a 2001 Honda Shadow 600 with 15k miles and a 1996 Suziku Intruder that I saw recently. The only problem with the Intruder is that it has a 1400cc engine, so that kinda rules that one out. I did see some others, but I haven't written them down. My dad has a friend that knows someone that works at a place close by, so they might be able to give me a good deal on something. I can't afford to be too picky. :idk:

Welcome aboard!
I am a noob on this site also.
Depending on your financial pic, you may want to call your ins co and get quotes on the bikes you are interested in, and also quotes with 1 spd ticket as it will happen.
Start out on a smaller bike and develope your skills before jumping up to the gonzo bikes.

Have fun

see ya
