My favorite cage to own would be a 67/68/69 Nickey. I would kill for one perfectly restored. I wouldn't turn down a Yenko either though.

Fur shure dude. It should have a year or two of serious ownage. Its V6 base model pumps more HP than the Ford GT V8 Mustang and the Challenger doesn't come with a manual transmission. Of course you have to hope that GM is still around to produce them after first quarter:idk:

I hear ya, but I must say, I do think they did a decent job with the newer mustangs. While they dont have quite the edge, they are pretty sweet. Course, I could be biased!

The camaro will probably grow on me tho...

i do like the looks of the new mustangs though..

I don't think you can even register a body in white for street legal use.

None the less I think the Camaro looks good and thats coming from a big Mustang fan.

Live rear axle on the Mustang = FAIL. Is there even any other rwd vehicle on the market w/ a live axle that's not a truck?

The Camaro is going to kick the Mustang's ass to bits and pieces.

And can both be easily handled by a 4 year old 600 cc sportbike:panic:

Camaro may beat the Mustang down like it always has but the Mustang will keep its loyal following like the others will too.

Live axles go hand and hand with drag racing, dem Cheby boys have been building Ford 9 inch rears for a while now.

Out dated it may be, useful it still is.

It does in the SRT8 version... and what other version is worth buying?

Yes, for those who live their lives a 1/4 mile at a time!

You can swap in the Cobra's independent rear susp..........Course it will probably cost you $5-6K

And you'll still be stuck with the same too-high, bathtub-like interior

Must be talking about the 05+?

On the forums I would frequent it was always easy to find a 03/04 cobra looking to swap rear ends for cheap. They always wanted live axles and some lucky road racer always needed IRS.

I haven't heard the word Yenko in 15 years....

Its not 7K..the 7K is the upgrade price.

glad you like it.. that is your opinion.. thanks for sharing.. doesn't mean it's my fucking opinion.. i think they took the old design made a few minor changes made it look more modern and copped out on coming up with something new.. big reason gm chokes on big donkey dicks and is going bankrupt.. they live too much in the past.. i am not impressed one bit..

Other than sort of looking like the old one, the car is nothing like the old.

Look at the new shit coming from across the pond.... hideous designs that look like a comic book cars. We all have our own opinions, but most everyone I've talked to like the design alot.

i don't care for too much coming across the pond really.. except the GTR - but I do have to say that I am pissed off that Motor Trend picked it for Car of the Year??? So you have a $25,000 Fusion which most people can afford vs. a $75,000 Nissan GTR that not too many people could afford or at least if they could afford it wouldn't be spending that kind of coin on a car.. They should do a study and say the average person spends "x" amount on a new car and that is the criteria or have categories like under $10k, $10k-$20k, etc. How can you expect a car a 1/3 of the price to compete really? It's like a Chevette vs. a 599GTB - gee I wonder who will win?

I just don't really like the new Camaro or the new Thunderbird or the new Charger.. I just think they are living too much in the past.. sure they have updated technology so why not an updated design? I am not a real big fan of the Mustang either but out of all of them I like the new design better - it has some cues from the past but to me it seems more modern than the others for whatever reason - maybe it is my fucked up perspective..

Check this shit out though - this is bad fucking ass - Ford Shelby GT 500 KR - holy sheep shit batman this is a fucking car - I know where # 11 (1-10 are not available) is for sale and if you have $150k I can get it for you:
