don't know what say about this............

"These two Stage 2 BDS blowers are capable of flowing 435 (8-71) and 411 (6-71) ci of air per revolution each when run 1:1 with the crank. The NOS can add a 300hp shot, but to use it all at the same time requires a large bucket to pickup the scattered crank and connecting-rod shrapnel. "

"IF" thats a real GTO...what a fucking waste....

The twin blowers like that (IMHO) are just for looks. The parasitic loss from running that configuration would be ungodly. There was a 60something chevy truck at a show with almost the same engine, the owner said it was just for the wow factor. The car is beautiful tho.

A lot of extra money wasted but wouldn't mind putzing around in that thing.

I was thinkin the same thing about the losses from the blowers. performance wise, the way they're stacked two high like that also creates a problem in terms of power cause they completely fuck up the aerodynamics of the car, and just serve as a brake.

The car is beautiful, but the blowers are fugly. Single blower wouldn't be horribly atrocious, a small one with a ram-air hood would be even better.

its pro-street, ridiculously expensive, ridiculous looking, and almost completely incapable of being fast

that is RIDICULOUS!

meh. I like the idea of a well-built big-block with an 8-71, but that setup is ridiculous. If it's a real GTO, someone needs a good slapping.

Blah... looks like shit

Well, that's one way to spend a lot of money... but what does it pull in the quarter?

probably nothing because it wont GO in the 1/4 mile. like as in the driver is probably dumb enough to hit the nitrous with that twin blower setup on it and blow the motor to holy hell.

Actually, a sick evil side of me just pictured how wonderful that would be.

It would be a fitting conclusion for such an abomination.

That same car with a single, slightly underdriven 6-71 blown mouse would be ten times hipper, and a thousand times more usable as a fucking car.

Does nothing for me. I like old muscle but this car is just ruined. Looks like a bad hot wheels car.

But a good looking car (IMO) from Hot Wheels is the life size, operational, Twin Mill.

Yes indeed it is.

Some shots I have from my trip to LA a couple years ago. Think I will find them and start a thread about it.

My thoughts exactly.
I don't mind a little modernization or customization of classic muscle, but don't fuck it up like that.
