went to the store to get some beer for new years. I wound up dropping 80 dollars and walked out with a whole 5 bottles.

Brooklyn Black Opps 22.99

Rogue imperial stout 06 17.99

Sam Adams Chocolate bock 16.99

Stone brewery Imperial stout 7.99

Stone bitter chocolate oatmeal stout 7.99

And the missus got some new outfit and a new pair of boots so it should be an all round fun night:drool:

The choc beers arent realy chocolate per se, well the sam adams kinda is. the otghers use a type of malt called chocolate malt, among many other good things.

AMJ I have all the equipment, we just need to kill my landlord or get me in a house sooner and its on.

My dad was a member of a beer club a few months back and they sent some imported chocolate flavor brand in the mix and it just tasted nasty. I never had any Sam Adams yet, but I still say chocolate and beer just don't go together.

I only walked out with some Heineken today.

EDIT: Besides the chocolate malt (which has nothing to do with chocolate, I remember hubby adding a tiny bit of (about 1oz) of dark chocolate to 5 gal of worth to some kind of stout.

Not sure if it gets that far away, Most of the info is on the web site. Michigan has some strick rules about shiping beer and wine. I know they sell a lot of it in Wisconsin, enough that they are having trouble making it fast enough.
