I got one for Christmas! :nana2:
I know I'm a bit of a nerd but I freakin' love this thing.
Every day I do my brain training religiously! I'm actually a bit ashamed to say that my brain age isn't all the great....but it's getting better!
Went out Boxing Day and got a few games for it:
Guitar Hero - rock tour
Yoshi's Island
Real Soccer 2009
Tetris
Anyone else into stuff like this? :badger: :pebbs:

I have two DS Lites and more games than you can fathom :rockout:
I used to have a pair of PSPs, DS FTW!

So far I'm loving all the games except *gasp* the Real Soccer one. :(
I can't really figure it out too well and haven't scored a goal yet.

I've got a DS Lite and a PSP. I play them both continuously. The DS is logging a few more hours than the PSP thanks to Final Fantasy IV, though between Lumines, Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core, and Patapon, the PSP is hardly ignored.

My GF got one last year around Christmas. She has brainage 1 and 2 among others. I played it almost every day for a week or two but once my brainage was down to 21 or 20 or something I never touched it again.

Just got continuously better at the little challenges. Mostly the math related ones. The 20 (Or is it 25?) math questions one was my best. I had it better than 1 question per second answered. The hardest part was getting the damn thing to recognize what I was writing at that speed.

I keep thinking about getting one of these or a PSP but I haven't been able to make myself spend the money.
When I game I'm usually doing it on my home machine or on the laptop. :idk:

Get a DS. Buy a Flash Cart. Play thousands of games on your DS. Sure, you could get a PSP and put homebrew on it, but you run the risk of flushing $170 down the toilet if you brick it. The Flash cart has virtually all the benefits of the homebrew shit without the risk of bricking the DS or blocking you from playing future games.
And Chrono Trigger just came out for the DS recently. I feel my time disappearing just thinking about buying that game.

Well I still suck at Real Soccer 2009. I mean.....I've played numerous games and haven't even been able to score a goal yet!

I just read this and started looking into it. What do you think of something like this?

And where do you get your Roms? From somewhere like this? http://www.nds-roms.com/
I take it they're all pretty much the same and should work fine? It's been so long since I used any kind of Emulator or Roms I have no idea what's worthwhile.

I want a PSP just so I can play Chains of Olympus. Seriously, two spins through the game and I'd sell it again.

I'm just now getting into it myself. I did a little research and talked to a few friends and they recommended this one: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.10289 It reviews well, and for $7 shipped I can afford to write it off if it's a dud.
As for ROMS, I've got a bunch that I picked up through torrents. A little searching will get you torrent files that are packed with games, though I've seen the nds-roms.com site listed before as well.

guitar hero is quite challenging on the DS. more fun on the Wii.
Im not ashamed to say that I am a tetris nerd... I got a DS as a gift some long time ago and I got tetris for it and can beat it like nothing. but its an awesome game to play while you are on the shitter.

I find it's the opposite. I can't play for shit on Playstation or Wii but I can rock it on the DS.

I never wanted to spend the money on this but I'm so glad I did. I play 2 games every day (Brain Age 2 and My Weight Loss Coach) and then alternate with other fun games. I love it! :rockout

Figured I might as well add to this again...
Got my card and it works great. For roughly the price of a new game I've got just about every game made for it at my fingertips, a rumble pak and great software to watch video, play music, run as a PDA etc.
