This was in the local papers yesterday. I figured it wa s burm when i first heard it, but was urprised to see it was a retic, and a very nice one at that. Maybe I should give a fake out of NY address and try to adopt it.

Anybody can own one in TN...I don't get why you'd have to have a license to own one up here (except for the obvious taxation). Take a class maybe, but hey...you can't fix stupid...A lot of people don't realize just how dangerous a constrictor can be. Once they get to 8ft, they should never be handled without a second person present. If he didn't like snakes, he had no business taking care of it even short-term. Been there, done that. That IS a beautiful snake though...reminds me of my old retic.

I kind of miss having snakes...kept idiots away. At one point I had 7...2 Ball Pythons, a red-tail boa, green burmese, albino burmese,a retic and a green anaconda.

Snakes and their food in my freezer keeps a lot of people away as does the fact that my cats walk on the counters

it sux that they outlawed the large boids in NY, I had a nice yellowhead retic when I was younger and was about 13 feet when she died. That one in the pic has some real nice coloration, not sure if its an ambon yellow head or maybe the dreaded sulawesi:rockwoot:
