How often do you change your desktop background?

During the season I do it weekly from the Arsenal site so I have the latest game images.

When I'm trying to motivate myself I put up something different.

Just curious!

i got two monitors at work, so there are some sights that have huge images made for the programs that allow you to use one image stretched across both. i change those big ones out weekly

Depends on my mood. If I find something I like that just stands out as "perfect", it stays for a long time. But eventually I swap out backgrounds pretty often just to find the next good fit.

I do the same thing...

What do you use for your desktop program? I use Display Fusion, and I found a few websites with widscreen images.

I never change mine really, honestly my home PC has dual 22" monitors and sat for a while with the active desktop recovery screen up haha. I usually have to size things to fit this resolution, and I dont care that much

yeap i am using display fusion too. i cant remember the two sites i found, but i have a good bunch of sweet images, from nature to CG.

At home it never changes, my wife made a collage of a bunch of pics of us and the dog. At work...I change it every few months...whenever I get bored.

My desktop is usually a picture of my kids. I change it whenever I get a decent/funny picture of them doing something new. They grow so fast it seems to get changed a lot.

Mine depends on what I have up there. Sometimes they last a couple months, others only make it a few days.

My desktop computer has had the same picture of a customized Yamaha Warrior for over a year I think.

On my laptop I forget what I had before someone changed it to a picture of my daughter from Halloween. That stayed till my laptop acted up and I had to get it repaired. I had it back for a month or so and haven't but anything up yet.

I'm kinda like rider... I'll find one that jumps out at me and it'll be my back ground for a long time... then I'll switch like 5 times in a day or week... all depends...

Don't feel bad, I've had the standard blue background at work since I started there 10 years ago... and I don't have the authorization to change it. They have that feature locked down on our PCs.

At home, it was the standard blue but a couple months back I put up a picture of a Legacy GT as it is a motivation for me. I want/need a new car, so seeing it each day keeps me on track with saving money.

Home is pretty static - it's a shot that I took around 1am with the Bellagio to the left, Caesar's to the right, and the fountain pool in the foreground. Could've been a better pic, but it's a little cheapie camera so it's just fine. LOL

Work changes 1-2x a week. Sometimes it's a stretch-across-dual-monitor, sometimes I switch it back to dual display (or whatever the terminology is for 2 monitors that you can move between) and have the same pic on both. I can't stand the corporate logo anymore. :lol:

On my home computer, I've had a picture of a friend of mine who has been going through cancer treatment. It helps me keep her in my thoughts.

On the laptop I switch it up depending on what I feel like.

My work PC I have to keep at least somewhat tame, but I don't let that stop me from putting up something humorous to make the next shift chuckle when they come in.

Yeah, pretty sad huh? It's about to give up the ghost too but I don't want to buy, I want to build to replace. Those purse strings, they are closed. Maybe Ulu will let me build a new one when mine turns into a paperweight. Or I'll just buy a laptop.

At home or work, I change it whenever there's a pic worth changing it. Right now, I got a sick high, high, high resolution shot of Chris Vermuelen (sp) during the night race in Qatar. He's got the clear visor on and you can see the focus in his eyes. It's a bad ass pic. The pic was so big, it got shrunk to fit my background.

Every 3-4 days.... sometime as little as 2 days! I actually kinda annoy my brother because he uses my laptop and get the usual response.... "you changed your backround again????" I just get bored too fast, and find something cool when im searching for motorcycle stuff everynight.

When I got my new Laptop the first thing I did was change the desktop backround by going to paint and using the paint bucket to paint it black. Then I tiled it for my desktop.

I hate waking up to turn on the puter to have some bright image blind me since I get up before dawn.

Sometimes twice a day, sometimes once a month. In the summer it usually changes when I find a new hot bike pic, I've had sick snowboard pics up for a while now. Right now, this is at home:

It depends. I'll change it up alot for about a month until I find something I really like, then it tyically stays there a long time. It takes me a while to get bored with one I really like. Right now this is the one I'm using since I haven't had a good recent one the padawans. They don't like taking pictures together.

I love how mysterious this picture is.... just with how your face is covered, and where ur looking. It'd look sweet in black and white...
