"So you're a Pontiac diehard, but you don't need the space of the G8 GT GXP and the Solstice GXP is just a bit too "me too." So what's a Big Chief enthusiast to do? Well, if you've got $35,000 kicking around in your automotive slush fund, how about a brand-new, never-titled 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT? The mid-engined, V6 Fiero that General Motors should have been building the whole time, but only got around to developing just before they sent they took the plastic-bodied model out back? Yes, that GT.

Evidently thinking ahead, some enterprising chap found a fire-engine red example and promptly mothballed it. Quite likely the only "brand new" Fiero on the planet (GT or otherwise), this time warp rear-driver has just 221 miles on it, and is still on MSO. Heck, we're willing to bet that the cassette player has never even seen a copy of White Snake's Greatest Hits!

If you're interested, the optimistically-priced but irreplacable Fiero can be found at Hinton Chevrolet-Buick in Lynden, Washington.

35K for a 3spd automatic = har har.....loser

Had it been a 5spd example...it would only qualify for one har.

I sent them an offer of $2000...let see how badly they really want to sell it.

I told the contact I emailed, "That car was a piece of crap on its best day, so you've kept a piece of crap on ice for 20 years, now you have a 20 year old piece of crap. NADA, KBB and Edmunds give that car $1200 in total value. I'll give you $2000. Just think, you're way ahead of the curve if you take it. Let me know if you are interested in doing business and I will fly up there and take it off your hands."

Then I will run it over to the Barrett Jackson auction and sell it there to a collector who might give $20K for it. They are never going to move it otherwise

You don't understand.
It has a 3spd automatic.

While modern cars need 4 to 8 speeds in their automatics.
That Fiero only needs 3.
That my boy is FUCKING BALLZ

Turbo 350/400...you only need 3 speeds or even 2 if the motor can pull it. The only reason OEMs are going to higher speeds is to improve fuel economy.

I cant see anyone being stupid enough to pay $35k for that piece of shit. if they are, I've got a brand new first ever produced Porsche 351 with 0 miles and never titled sitting in my garage. and I'll sell it for $5mil.

8 grand and lock it away. Pray that it will fetch something in 40 years at auction.

Certainly not worth driving, at least with the 3spd.

Give me $35K and name your car. I will deliver better looks, better performance, and better durability...

No kidding. And can you imagine your first service appointment? Parts, if available, will be stupid expensive.

And it's a Fiero GT, you're going to have problems with it.

Engine/electrical fires FTW.

BONUS: Lawn-chair like seats with tiger-striped velour covering.
