I wish they still made the old 1000cc ThunderAce. That was a cool bike.

Oh and remember the RF900R Suzuki...Neat styling!

The Original DeltaBox! Awesome bike, good frame, first bike with 50% weight distribution and I think the first twin-spar aluminum frame.

yamerhaw, there is one for sale here in NC for $2800 if I remember correctly it was really clean, so much so that I really wanted it too, but could not justify the expense at this time, if I can dig it up I will forward it to you.

I used to be the Yamaha posterboy! I had a '95 FZR1000 which got stolen from the dealership,so I bought a YZF1000 with the insurance money. BTW both bikes were pieces of shit and the reason I went to Suzuki. The FZR blew the clutch basket and smoked the motor and the YZF had to have the trans rebuilt and the engine rebuilt a few times. I kept losing shift dogs in the trans and I kept burning oil in the engine. It was funny because Yamaha never flinched at footing the bill...:idk: Anyway,I traded the YZF in for a 'Busa and never looked back...

damn that sucks, my old FZR was a piece of shit, but i've had 3 R1's that were all pretty awesome, not as awesome as my Gsxr, but never had any trouble with them

Very nice. My hubby almost bought a FZR400 to race, but then decided against it. It's a pretty cool bike, any of them.

I love the FZRs with round headlights. I too almost had an 89 1000 once awhile back, and recently was lookin at a 95. decided against the newer one, and the older one the guy didnt want to trade out for.

I loved those YZF750s. Shame they never went with a solid paint scheme, but they were cool bikes.

Come on, I cant beleave someone hasnt posted up the cool little FZR 400.
Original DB frame , drop the motor and install the 600 right up with matching wiring harness. My buddy too the 6 motor put a little $$ in it with a 1.5 over big bore kit and we mounted it into that little 400 frame. Ohh the fun we had.

I have photos in a book somewhere. Between the old fizzers and the hawk gt 650s how could you not have fun....then came along the CBR f2-f3 and caught the attention of everyone, the new sexy ass zx7r then the 900RR and then zuk opened the can of worms with thos new gsxr's (srad) man where did the time go.
