New Dog

I just got home from work about an hour ago and got to meet my new/2nd dog. Her name right now is winter but Im trying to come up with something else since I dont like that at all. The first pic is her, shes a beagle/basset hound mix that weighs about 17lbs and they said shes somewhere between 2 and 6 years old. The second is our other dog, Blitz, part german shepard, part basenji. Hes about 7 years old and 44 lbs. Weve had him since he was 2 or 3.

He looks 100% Beagle..... and a clone of my friends dog, Hunter.

Is she trained well? Cause if beagles arent... they are ornrey as hell!

Her ears seem more like basset hound to me but other than that looks just like a purebred beagle.

She is extremely calm. Still a little nervous but barely barks at all and I was only home for about 10 minutes before she passed out in my lap.

Yeah, I like her so far, and everyone that ever meets blitz loves him. Hes pretty much just cute, dumb and fun.

She's adorable..:) my friends in PA had one and they def tend to be stubborn little things but so very cute.

Ive also decided that the new ones name is going to be either pixie or skittle. Cant decide which one just yet.

Lol... they do like to curl up in laps, and make the most groaning noises ive ever heard.

I had actually thought about twix as well. It looks like its gonna be skittle.

Also that pic doesnt show that shes a little longer and has stubby legs more like a basset.

We ended up going with skittle as her name and other than blitz trying to show who's boss a few times, theyve gotten along well. Im guessing within the next week or two she'll be real comfortable and theyll be just fine together.
