short story is that I may have been scammed - at the very least mis-lead - by a local couple. They have our wedding deposit for a location they don't actually own, the sale didn't go through. The true owner contacted us last night. He's trying to find out what other couples they've gotten money from.

What is the best way to send out a general "have you done business with "so and so"" to try to find other people affected by this mess?

I'm moving past pissed into "nail those fuckers" action. I'd would love to have an angry mob behind me.

A shotgun to their faces would make you feel a lot better.

Just make a webpage, it's fast, cheap and surprisingly easy. Put your testimonial on it and a link to an e-mail address for you at the bottom, and don't make it retarded colors or confusing. Or just get a horses head and...

I think there is a bridal expo coming up. You could pass out flyers! What about bridal forums?

Were are they advertising? If its on a site like Craigslist, Kijiji, Facebook and so on you should post on that same site. You could also put up and ad on Craigslits and Kijiji asking about it. If your on Facebook you could have a group up in minutes so I would go with that as well.
