Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE Arizona? The high today is 70, and the next week or so will be in the low to mid 70's. I can't even imagine living in the cold again!

Five inches of wet snow on Monday morning. With temps in the 50's the rest of the week, it should all melt and I'll be riding on Friday and Saturday.

It was in the low 60's, maybe upper 50's today and will be all week. So much better than my last base.

We got some good powder today.

It was snowing when i woke up at 9am.... its snowing now... and it has not stopped for one minute. I mean the driving was bad, but it wasnt THAT bad. I just hate the fucking moron drivers that feel the need to drive 10 mph on the main highways, and make things worse.... and i was forced to drive to school which did not cancel evening classes. I'm just pissed that they put a little lecture over peoples safety.

The funny thing is its really not that cold at the time being.

Here's one for ya...it's gonna be 0 tonight and our downstairs heat quit working. We have forced hot water heating and one of the water valves stuck shut. I had to call the landlord from sandman land on his couch to come look at it. He has to replace the controller for the valve tomorrow. For now, it's manually open so should heat the house. Why can't this shit happen in October?

Oh, on top of that, the oven quit working...he's not a very happy camper ATM...

I am sure you were bleeding a few miniutes later

my first retic, and my 3rd snake ever, was 9 ft when I got it, later found out it was a sulawesi sp? this thing was so hit or miss. Sometimes I would try to take her out and by the hissing and posturing I knew not to go in the cage. But she did turn on me a few times, got a nice scar on the leg from it too.

I also bought a 7ft burm, the pet store told me the PO didn trealy take care of it. We took it out and I was handling him for a good 20 minutes and was very docile. I came back an hr later to take it home and all hell broke loose. fdamn thing sprayed EVERYWHERE and made one hell of a mess.

Now on top of that I have had an intrest in a green tree python:panic:

i've only ever been bit by my redtail...all due too feeding mishaps. but it hasn't been for quite a while...then again i also haven't handled her for quite a while. i don't take her out of her cage at all anymore unless its for feeding

tommymac

My larger carpet has caught me a few times, again all feeding mishaps. Once out of the cage hes completley fine. th efunny thing is the female has become agressive all of a sudden :idk: its more of a good thing since shes been eating quite regularly. I usualy slow them down in the winter and go every 14-21 days but this ones always reared up when I go by the cage. She gets so sporadic with the eating I have ot ride this while we can. i am sure come summer she will refuse meals for months at a time.

Friend of mine had a burm between 7-9 foot about as big around as a baseball. You could not reach into the tank or you would be bit. But if you let it clime out of the tank onto your hand it was fine after that. But some times when you put it back in the tank it would strike even after hours of handling out of the tank with out a problem.

I have only had kings myself they don't hurt so bad when they bite. I had a great colored coral mimick and a all black. The black one got large for a king. The coral mimick could excape from any cage. The pet store gave it to me when I bought the black one cause they could not keep it locked up. They lost it several times. I tried everything to keep it locked up and finally lost it and never found it again. I had it for 4 years and it would let itself out about 3 times a year, strange snake would only eat in the dark.

The Black one in contrast would always eat and eat all you gave it had that one for about 10 years. I came home one day and it was rolled over dead in the tank. He was pretty cool and would try to rattle his tail (had no rattle) when you came near the tank. The noise of his tail hitting stuff in his cage stoped a few people in there tracks a few times.
