It's not often a plane goes down and everyone survives. They all are incredibly lucky considering where it could have gone down (manhattan or jersey)

So if they hadn't died in the crash, they'd have been smoked by investment bankers or wise guys?

I'm so sick of this fucking plane and the goddamn weather stories on the news.

Every five minutes "It's going to get cold tomorrow!!"
"What can we do to protect us from bird strikes!!!"

All evening "did you hear about the crash? "Don't you work in midtown? Did you walk over and look at the plane? blah blah fucking blah.

Local news stations are having a field day combing youtube videos for airplane crashes.

Kudo's to the ferry captains. Kudo's to the plane captain.
Fuck all the passengers who blocked the aisle to grab there bags out of the overhang. Screw the idiots who are bound to sue the geese for flying into (Don't fucking mess with NY geese motherfuckers).

Actual conversation....
Hey I saw the plane from my office!!!
What did it look like?
A fucking plane in the river!!!
Kinda like boat?

Yeah a boat with wings!!! With people on top!!

By saturday there will be street vendors selling plane in the water suveniers next to the stupid remember 9/11 twin towers picture frames and Obama sweatshirts.

Can't wait for tomorrow morning when it's 1 degree outside.
I walk about a mile (I guess) to the office because Subways are for pussy's (that and I usually get to work quicker just walking it) I'm hoping for a nice runny nose to develop as I walk and I think I'm just going to let it run.

This way when I walk into the office the first thing we can talk about is my frozen snot encrusted upper lip and not the fucking plane or the fucking weather.

did you take any cool pics??? I was reading that on the news today, freaking nuts! Although it would be pretty cool to survive a plane crash into the hudson river, i'm sure it wasn't fun, jumping into those freezing water temps!

beats dyin in a fireball. Glad it was up that way and not by kenedy since we can get survivors there if theres a mass casualty.

From listening to the survivor testimonies on CNN lastnight, I think only a couple of people even got wet. Help was there so fast that most of them were getting right off the plane into a raft. Thats pretty freakin amazing.

20 people that work for the same company here in Charlotte that I do were on the aircraft. I know 2 of them. One guy called his wife from his cell phone as they were going down.

Kudos to the pilot...crew and for the overall rescue effort. :dthumb:

"And in further news, FAA representatives are stating that cellular interference with the aircraft's navigation system is culpable in the crash of flight 1549."

Bullshit. Cell phones and aircraft navaids operation on completely different frequencies.

Probably a whipped motherfucker who was getting bitched out for getting on a plane that was going to crash.

I wonder if anyone got video of the plane crashing. With 10billion cell phone cameras out there, you'd think someone would take video of a plane crashing.

It's a security camera vid, it's not real clear, but it looked like the plane was almost doing the landing in the water on purpose like it was a seaplane it was so smooth. Dude is fuckin good.

Watching the crane operators do stuff like this is prety cool. Those guys are something else esp with a heavy lift like that.

I think they just pulled the other engine out today.

Cool pics.

Looks like you just need to bolt up a couple of new motors and dry the carpet out, then that plane will be good to go.

I hope that pilot got some crazy post-plane crash nookie from all the female (Or male if that's his thing) passengers on the plane.
