So I was talking with a few buddies and they mentioned that Some bikes have a seat Cowl Included in the sale of the bike...Has anyone heard of this?? I know my buddies girl got her new 08 Gixxxer And they included the Seat cowl, Is it a Suzuki thing?? I tried looking for it for my 6R but couldn't find anything.

Would be sweet to go back to the dealer and get one for free.

Buell does. And I know Suzuki does. Don't know that any of the others do.

This is the truth. I think none others do.

I like that too, keeps people from asking for a ride, as well as looking cleaner.

Only Suzuki and Buells, as far as I know

Damn right.

And Buell has the benifit of the cowl being a cover only. In emergency situations you still have the seat.
Though I think I'm going to pull the pass pegs, so they would be SOL anyway.

My pegs would be off if my wife didn't ride with me. Much cleaner looking without them.

The RC might of been one that came with a cowl.

Ducati Monster was another one that came with the cowl and it is the same as the buell, it's just a cover.

Some other high end italian bikes also come with it. Some because they are only single seat bikes.

The '09 Monster Edition ZX-14 has a cover included with it this year but it is just a slip on cover i think. We've got one on the floor and it looks like a cover only but I haven't tried to remove it to see for sure.

I was going to give you the one I had in my garage, but now that you've started talking to my cousin, forget it.

The Honda VFR800 Interceptor comes with a seat cowl. It's really just a cover to go over the back half of the banana seat. I believe the Super Hawk came with one as well.

My Monster has said cowl, it simply covers the back part of the one-piece seat.

Aprilia used to come with both the rear seat and a separate actual cowl (not a plastic seat cover) for a couple of years on their Tuono and RSVRs and then they did away with it. So now the people that want a seat cowl has to go pay out of the ass for one.

I have an 06 and it didn't come with one from the factory. I had to buy mine. You'll love the look!

That's the first thing I did. Then I put em back on once to give a ride to the gf. And that was the last time my bike will ever see 2 up. It's just too small...

The RC also comes with a pitiful excuse for a passenger seat.

Similar to the one on the 1125 then.
When asking comonboys how comfortable it was, she replied "it was about as comfortable as havinig a 2X4 shoved up my ass sideways"

Right. The newbs should be educated on who to steer clear of when nightfall arrives.

and t-rock will NOT be allowed to ride on the back of Vader.
Then again... NO guy will be allowed to ride on the back of any bike I am riding.
