I often flag traffic (Infact I did today. Fucking sucked but funny to watch cars skid into the back of each other). We have an arrow bored with other parts of our company having the detailed signs. And someone rewired a sign in my town once to say something fucked up. Infact I think it said "Fuck It". I'll have to look it up.

Once the DOT got a hold of your ass then you'd be done for. You'd be better off robbing a post office. I've seen GDOT tell cops to get the hell out of the road and for the cops to obey.

My main job is a human traffic signal. I hold a Stop/Slow paddle and had to learn the DOT rules.

If someone ignores our signals all we have to do is call in someone's tag number and the police will ticket them for running a stop sign, disobeying traffic signal devices, endangerment, and all kinds of other goodies. We rarely call in, but we did one time. Woman came by our work area 4-5 times in one day and kept trying to ignore the stop sign each time. It's easily beat, but not after a shit load of lawyer fees.
