Just wanted to say what's up all? I've been lurking around the forums for a couple weeks and got around to posting. I was referred here by another member ebbs15.

My name is Don and I've been riding my current sportbike, 04 Kawasaki ZX-6R, for about 5 years. All of my riding has been on the twisties of Cali by Fairfield/Vacaville. Right now I'm over in Korea and have 6 more months left here then I go to Vegas. I'm looking to convert my Ninja for racing and do some track days. So if anyone has suggestions on what I should buy, let me know. Right now I have minor cosmetic stuff and a Yoshi slip-on. I still want to do my street riding though. I'm thinking either Ducati 1198 or Aprilia RSV 1000 R. Something a little more exclusive and not so common on the streets.

Alright, looking forward to riding with some of you in the future.

I am already laughing at the xenu comments here, time for me to go wiki.

Edit: Welcome to the site, I think you will find that we are full of sick humor but we have a fair share of racer/riders that make up for our bullshits with excellent information and a wide spread geographical spread. DLIT is in Vegas and he should be able to point you in all the right directions.

He's already a member of 702sb, too. He copy and pasted his intro thread.

You'll become a track addict, like many of us. And if you like to drink, that's even better. What career field?

Ha, I know I'll be a track addict because I'm a big fan of AMA Superbike and Moto GP. As a matter of fact I do like to drink. I'm more of a shot person. Beer takes too long to get me wasted. Yep, I'm a med tech. That way if I hurt myself, I can just put myself back together.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone.

It's funny you mention the RC8 because I was thumbing thru a Road Racing mag and saw an ad for it. I have to say the looks are growing on me. Sort a looks like a GSXR with sharp lines. I'll definitely be in a difficult spot when choose a bike once I'm back.

Thanks for all the welcomes.
