Note: I'm no expert...I saw a TV show about it. Interviews with the band, heard him sing etc..
He is from the Philippines. S. Perry had medical problems and couldn't work. The band auditioned temp singers to fill in and saw a tape of this guy. It turned out he knew all their songs and sounded great so they hired him. It pissed Steven Perry off so bad that they didn't abandon their tour schedule, that he cut all communication with the band and never came back. This guy sounds so close to the original that if I hadn't been watching I would not have known it wasn't the same singer that we have been listening too forever.
Yes, he can sing the music...

You pimp GM and put down 70's music?
Isn't that a contradiction?
Actually, I was going to say something like "Journey is made up of real people? I thought that music just spontaneously spawned from 500,000 jukeboxes!"

I heard he won the spot in a kareoke try out or something.
The first casset I ever bought was Journy. Like 1982 or something. Like that. I'll never forget it because I remember the words to the songs were typed on the fold out cover and everyoen though that was awesome. That was some small print then. I loved the 80's:rockout::rockwoot:

My dad had a 79 T/A. Thing was AWESOME. He sold it in the late 90's.
