We got a counter offer

As many of you know I have been toiling away looking for a house. After many weeks of looking at garbage we saw a few houses that looked good. We put in bids and were outbid :( so back to square 1.

This past sunday we went out again looked at 4 houses, 2 we realy liked a 3rd was in contract but I still want to go see it, the 4th was ok but the lady is askin way too much.

So we put in bids on 2 of them, one called back right away with a counter offer. this lady appears to be widowed and living by herself in this house so I know she wants out. I still want to hear back from the other one since its a little nicer but is just off a main road. theres pros and cons with each but I can see myself calling one home.

I am prety amped but want to keep it as cautious optimsim for now. Seems the ad wasnt on the remax site this week but when I find it I will post it up for you guys to see.

There are people out there buying, so it is a little competitive believe it or not. We recently got outbid on 2 houses, either way its still 20k less than her listing price. Hoping to hear today on the other house, that one may be a little more but we will see what they counter with or if they even accept our offer.
