I have heard cause it has to do with being warm caffieine why it makes you poop instead of pee. Like old wives tale about giving warm water to babies to make them poop.

I think it's because there's more caffeine in coffee than most sodas, and caffeine is a stimulant.

I get the urge to poop after I drink Red Bull or Sobe Adrenaline. :shrug:

How do I know? I have abowel disorder and I poop about 5-6 times a day. Coffee works on me within seconds of the first drink.

Caffeine isnt just a stimulant, its also a diurhetic. Thats why bodybuilders love it. Keeps them awake, and helps stop the cramps :)

Yeah, I don't drink a lot of coffee. When I was in Bahrain we went about four months with nothing but MRE's, I was eating around five a day. I went about three days with no joy, so I got a paperback, went into the harvest falcon facilities, lit a cigarette and downed maybe half a thermos of coffee. My body needed the relief but it wasn't enjoyable at all. I respect women now, because giving birth has to be miserable. Not only do I watch my caffiene intake now, I'm also careful with cheese.

I fuckin love coffee. I've never noticed making me have to poop. Sometimes If I drink like 6 cups in an evening I have to piss really bad, but that's understandable. Nicotene makes me have to poop though.

I drink about three of those strong ass Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk and it's like B-52 carpet bombing of Hanoi. Talk about some serious cleaning out.

I am so glad my colon works normally. I have friends and family who either go too often, not enough, or in the wrong consistency. It seems to be quite a nightmare inconvenience for them.

My almost 4 year old holds it till he can't stand it and then delivers coke can sized presents that make him scared to do it again next time. Made potty training a nightmare. And as a parent seeing your kid almost in tears crying "PU is coming for me!" makes you want to luagh and cry.

I only drink coffee when I'm really cold and trying to warm up.

Everyone at work drinks at least a LARGE cup or two of coffee at night to help them stay awake.

We only have one bathroom at work. It has one window and it cannot be opened.

The bathroom is but a few steps away from our work stations.

All that being said, this is the only reason I dislike my job. There's no air freshener on earth that effectively eliminates coffee poo odor...double wammy if it's mixed with Taco Hell.

And I have to pee about every half hour. :panic:
