Any suggestions on a decent spare helmet?

I don't want to spend much money on it since its not going to be on my head, but most likely if i'm lending it out, i liked the person enough not to torture them either with a heavy, loud helmet.

Anyone ever check out the helmets at walmart?

If you're willing to go to $100 they have tons on lids, even the HJC old model modular and some old model Sharks. Keep in mind that they ship for free at $100.

Puggy never pooped in it, it was just buried under my basement somewhere and i'm positive black mold took over it and i told mk that so he would stop bugging me about it. he didn't ask me about it for months and i kept telling him to pick it up and then when we was finally ready, i had no idea where it was.

hope mk is not on here

New Enough only has this one and I hate chick graphics. Grr... http://www.newenough.com/closeouts/helmets/scorpion/ladies_exo_400_paradise_motorcycle_helmet.html

Motorcycle Superstore has nice selection of helmets on closeout, especially in KBC's if you like those (I do...crash tested it and it does it's job :dthumb: )

Mens (it's all the men's helmets on closeout) http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/1/38/CDEPT/Street-Bike-Helmets-Mens-Riding-Gear-Closeouts.aspx

Women's: http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/1/2/48/CDEPT/Street-Bike-Helmets-Womens-Riding-Gear-Closeouts.aspx

Bike Bandit has some pretty good deals going too.

u can usually find the HJC CL-15's pretty cheap on craiglist i think i got my last one with a smoke shield for about 100 new in box and its a good queality helmet

its great to use during colder rides too because there is very poor ventilation

Get a GMAX 68S. They go for $120 and they have more airflow than any other helmet you'll find except that weird Givi. They're great, and an extra free tinted visor comes standard!

Thanks everyone, i saw the kbc too on motorcyclesuperstore, i just didn't know if they were really bad. As for the poor ventilation they may have a heat stroke here in vegas!

Rider, i'm interested, can you post up some pics of the helmet? I have a shoei myself and i love it, i just didn't want to buy one as a spare  I have to take my friend to try out a medium at the store, if it fits, and the helmet doesn't have pink on it then :dthumb:
