We got some area rugs to buy. Along with some art and painting everything. Still some work to do, but progress was definitely made.

No wall. Like I pull in and the bumper of my truck is 2ft off the back of the couch. I'm sure I'd have to rig up some ventilation system to suck the air out when a vehicle comes and goes into the garage... Not a big issue.
I just really like the idea of a living space that's one giant fucking room. Having the master bedroom loft overlook the entire living area would keep it really open, but still separate it somewhat.

It has a bathroom just off the loft. It would be for whoever is in the spare bedroom, if there was somebody there. For now, it's my bathroom.

I'm with you! Remember in 9 1/2 weeks,that dude's pad was fucking sweet! I almost did it one time. A buddy's Dad owned some warehouse space he let us rent to live in but it didn't last long and I never got it the way I wanted... but I used to drive my bike right the fuck into the living room!!!

One right across the street already has everything we want to d to this place, like hard wood/laminate flooring, better cabinets and counter tops, too. And they're asking only $125k for it. They were asking $129.9k for our place. We also got 6% closing costs and the bank to pay the rest of our lease so we could move out earlier and not fuck our room mates over. We would've got our earnest money deposit back, and not spent a dime to move in, but it had to go towards paying the lease off. Can't complain though, the EMD was only $1k. Mortgage is $942/month. It's a townhouse.

We get our own driveway, and so does the neighbor. But you won't find a house that is that far away from the next house for 20 miles here.
