:lol: Not quite. It has to do with handling customs and NAFTA issues as well as some project management thrown in the mix. I'm setting up systems and then will get to train people on those systems.
I'm interested in Technical Writing and Corporate Training and this is a way for me to get my foot in the door with both!

Kell, I've done the technical writing gig before, as part of my duties in two previous companies. A big part of it was what my Hong Kong-born boss used to call "Chinglish-to-English translations." It wasn't what i would call fun ;)

As much as I'm interested in Technical Writing I've been steered away that career path by several people who've done it. This is more of a situation of me writing the manuals and procedures that are involved in the processes I create....no translation or fixing up of other people's work!

That's not so bad. In my first computer related job I created the quality control testing procedures. I didn't find it all that rewarding until some of the sales droids got all excited that back-ordered product had come in, and went behind my back to ship it out prior to testing. It ALL came back :lol:
