Excuse the mess. His domain...his mess.

Typically the bikes were ramped into the shed through the side door on some wooden ramps he made.

http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g191/SVRogue/PDR_2234450x600.jpg

Then they were rolled out through another door using an ATV ramp.

http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g191/SVRogue/PDR_2236450x600.jpg

We used both ramps for the all the bikes we had...V-Star, GSXR 1000, 2 SV's, and several dirt bikes...no problems.

Rogue.... that second ramp looks way too sketchy..... :panic: I would not ride my bike up or down that thing....

But good job on the shed Six. My rent's has wayyy too much shit in it. Lawn mower, leaf sweeper, weed wacker. I might be able to squeeze it in.

Actually, it was the first ramp that gave me problems. I dropped my bike on it once. :panic:

The ex had no problems with either ramp.

I'd get a wide one...but that's just me. Part of the reason I dropped my bike off the wooden ramp is because it's so narrow.

The ATV Ramp websites all say dont use an ATV Ramp for a motorycycle, But I dont see the issue???

2 probs can be had with using an ATV ramp for a motorcycle, neither is much of a problem if you have half a brain.

1. The spacing of the bars is such that the tires fall inbetween the bars some. Makes for a lot of up and down, but not too bad.

2. Bi-fold ramps can sometimes fold up somewhat while rolling the bike up them, Tri-fold ramps generally do not have a "ramp" are in the center, so you are off center loading, and don't have a place to put your feet on one side.

Personally, for the shed, get a bi-fold and you will be fine... the one you posted is far longer than you really need for a shed... hell, I'd use that to load a bike in my pickup.

Rogue.... that second ramp looks way too sketchy..... :panic: I would not ride my bike up or down that thing....

I used a ramp just like that many times to load my bike in my pickup. Only probs are as I listed above, It can fold up on you, and it was a bit short for how high my pickup is, so I needed a bit of a hill to load on without hitting the exhause on the tailgate.

Well I put up some Reccessed Lighting Downstairs...It was actually easier than I thought and It looks Ten Times better than my old lights. This is the Biggest project of the house since it needs the most work to get done...But Im starting to tackle it becasue its the "Man" room and well...I want it done Lol

These are the Lights I had up before...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v227/Braindamaged0386/DSC_0090.jpg

There like School Or Store Lights...The Flourescent kind that you find in those types of places...Not something I would reccommend or Like to have in a House setting...And before I ripped the ceiling down it was a Drop ceiling also like you would find in a School or a Common Store like Target or Walmart or supermarkets and stuff...So that came down as well and I plan on Sheetrocking it after I get the Lights done.

This is the One side after I put up the Six Reccessed Lights.

Def happy with it...Gotta do Four more on the other side and then I'm putting up some Track lighting to shine down on the Bar which is going along the back wall.

we used a long set at every shop I have worked at to load bikes into the back of a truck. it's probably a liability thing, the weight of a 4wheeler is spread out more so they don't have to worry about weight being as much of an issue.

Well technically its called bouldering, but you put some thick plywood up and a few pads for when you fall on the floor, and these cool little handholds, and you go back and forth along the wall using different sets of holds. It can be hard as hell, challenging, and great excersize

I got a set of atv ramps from harbor freight, they were like $40 for the pair. they don't fold though.

they must have went up. ITEM 44649-0VGA $56 but they do send out a discount coupon every once in a while that can be used even it the item is on sale.

I like the look of recessed lighting and sheetrock ceiling, but I like the improved light output and ease of change with a drop ceiling and flourescant lighting.

All personal preferance, and I think it's going to look great when you get it finished.

I go over a buddies house on a regular basis to use his basement walls, which incidently he took out the stairs to the 2nd floorand has a wall going up there from the basement, lots of fun, and except for that one oart you never get more than a few feet off the floor
