BWAH!
I absolutely HATE the wheels that came on the Ninja 250's
Like

So I ask, Does ANYONE know of another bike that uses wheels that could possibly work on a Ninja 250?
I REALLY wanted to use the EX500 wheels like:
http://www.ninja500r.info/pics/ninja500green.jpg
But The only thing that will work without machining is the Axle
And i don't feel like spending $800 on STOCK wheels and having them machined to work.
So yeah, Any Suggestions? or am i stuck with these ugly wheels till i buy a new bike?

Personally, I like the wheels you have better than the ones you want. :) That's just my opinion though. :D

:lmao: I'm sorry, i like the 250's wheels better too  Not trying to be an ass, it's just opinions and personal tastes :D
Have you thought about powercoating or painting your wheels a different color? Might be enough to make you like them a little better :idk: I don't think there's a big market out there for them but you might find some through the guys that race them. Not sure if there are aftermarket wheels for the racers but it might be worth checking into.

I couldn't justify spending any money on stuff for a 250 but have fun on your search. I like the 250 wheels better anyways.

Only problem w/ the 250 wheels is they're 16" not 17".... right?
but yeah, I say save your bucks. They look fine to me. Not worth it.

Yep.
Know how many tires ARENT in 130/80-16 and 100/80-16?
Its uh like 3 brands..and that the stock shit to.
Guess ill just keep these and try to fit 140/90-16 on the rear and 110/90-16 on the front.
Untill i sell it and buy a 636:drool:

Excellent choice... go with the 05/06 instead of the 03/04. I tested an 03/04 at the dealer and it was uncomfortable as fuck. Atleast compared to the 05/06. And it looks better! :dthumb:
EDIT- Speaking of said dealership. Since i know your in C-bus, have you ever been to Motorsports of Columbus on Morse rd? We used to go up to that place like every other week in the summer, because all of my friends bikes were bought there. Bikini bike wash/grill outs, and fun activities like that. About two weeks ago we drove up to order some parts for both of our R6 and the whole f'in place is gone! Not shut down for the winter, gone. We were stunned cause they were a big time dealer, and way better people/service than ASK.

636, 599, doesn't matter. Either one is gonna be a fucking eye opener as to how insanely fast the middleweights are compared to an ex250.
Don't let 37cc's dictate what bike you look at vs what bike you completely dismiss. Either way you're QUADRUPLING your power by going from 25rwhp to over 100.

Good pov.... and in all reality the new 09's weigh so much less, have a stompin motor, and have so much more in technology and advancements that the gap would be null.
And to be honest I'd almost take the 07/08 more than either 636.... get Sixx and Kell in an argument on who's blue zx-6r is better! Haha

I know i know.and im not REALLY basing what i want on the cc of it.
I just like the 2k6 better.
And besides. min. wage wont pay for a new bike + new driver insurance.

Just an opinion. Take it for what it's worth.
It's a Ninja 250. Why worry what it looks like? If looks were such a huge concern, why get the 250 to begin with?
The money you'd spend on new wheels would likely buy you some decent gear or actual tires or maintenance...

Relatively speaking... with the jumper mod done, would the 08 be faster than the 06 636?
