View Full Version : Tomorrow I get to test ride one of these...
A 2010 Polaris Rush 600.
Ugly as sin, but supposedly the best performing sled ever. Wont break anything during most end for end, side over side rolls (side over side happens often on sleds if your playing hard int he powder), because everything just breaks away and snaps back together.
Claimed 140 horsepower, 420lbs I think... Should be fun.

600cc Oil Injected Twin cylinder 2 stroke
4 strokes aren't king of the snow yet... My 800 two stroke destroys 1100 4's...

Looks like fun. I love snowmobiles. We just don't get enough snow here on a regular basis. The last couple days have been 40-50 degrees, but tomorrow is 24 and snow.

You wont regret it.

Hm, we're supposed to get snow tonight... maybe i should pick one up
This was insanely fun by the way. The sled handles awesome. My Arctic Cat f8 handles like a dream, and its still got nothing on this sled. It feels like a dirtbike, and goes exactly where you point it.
I did get to hit a few small jumps with it, but it rained a little friday night and the snow was like ice. Flying 30 feet in the air and landing on ice hurts, I already learned that once this year (cost me 600$).
It definately doesn't have the power of my f8, but it is more agile. It feels as small as it looks, which, with a sled, is not a bad thing at all, even for a gfuy my size. I wouldnt want to log a ton of miles on it, but its a fun little toy.

Small area around the trees cleared, but still have plenty on the ground even after a coupe of warm (geez, did I call 40-50 warm???!!!) days. Had some snow the morning of the 50 degree day too. And I thought Tennessee weather was wierd!
Neighbors still take the sled out on the weekends...gott get me one next winter.
