I was watching a show on Discovery or TLC or one of those channels and they were touring an aquarium. When they got to the octopus tanks, the interviewer asked why the top 2 feet of the walls of the tank were covered with astro turf. Apparently, the octopus' would climb out of their tanks at night and crawl 3 or 4 tanks over to get to a fish tank, eat some fish, then crawl back into their own tank before morning. They couldn't climb the astro turf.
